Going to relative's house for New Year(2008)
:
Yesterday my family and I went to one of my relative's house (father side) to kind of celebrate New Year. We went there quite late (considered late) and so there were already a lot of people when we reached there. When we reached there we received lots of red packets and later also have a buffet dinner. The food I like best there is the laksa. After we had finish our lunch, we started playing poker with my cousins and also walk around our relative's house to explore as they live in a bunglow and it is very big. We also went to see the dog tat our relative had and it was really adorable. As time passes
we started to get bored and so we played wat time is it now Mr wolf. After tat we went home happily and we had enjoyed ourselves.

Trp to Batam 2008
:
During the New Year, my family went to Batam together with my other
relatives. We went to the jetty early in the morning for breakfast and
later took a ship to Batam. When we reach there we went to shop and
look around first as we can only check in at 3pm. The next day we woke
up early and ate our breakfast later we went for a walk with a few of our
cousins. We too went to the swimming pool and also the beach. We went
canoeing(somthin like it) and also ride on somethin tat seems like a
motorboat. When we finish having fun most of us gt sun burn and turn
veri red and it feels very hot and also is painful when being hit. After tat
we went to the Kelong to hav sea food and went KTV later. As I was veri
tired I went back early after tat.The next day it wasd the day tat we had
to return home. We were suppose to take the night ship back so we went
shopping and later we played poker at the hotel until its time to go to the
jetty. We took the night ship back to Singapore and later took a taxi home.
It was really fun there though when I came back home my body was aching
a lot cause of the sun burn.

Chinese New year celebration in school(2008)
:
Today Is Chinese New Year Eve. I went to school for half a day to celebrate Chinese New Year(kind of) and there are lots of activities were prepared for us. There are activities like hamper making, mascot and designing greeting cards. I was in the group tat was designing greeting cards. At first because lots of the members were performing arts only two of the members were left. So our co-form teacher came to help us and also some students who are free. We
colour cut and paste pictures onto it and latersubmit it for the competition. Later we went to the hall to watch the performance by the Greendale Orchestra and Greendale Chorale. After this comes a speech about food and the announcing of results for the winning classfor each category but our class did not manage to win in any of them but it was indeed fun in making the greeting cards.
After tat I went home and went out again to my grand mother's house(mother side ). After tat I went to my cousin's house
(father side) to eat steam boat. It was really delicious and I ate until
I gt veri bloated. After tat we went to my cousin's room to play some games
and later went home to pack our bags for the trip to Batam the next day.
I am really excited about the next day about going to Batam.

Going to Chinatown and Suntec city
:
Today my mum brought my sis and I to Chinatown to shop and also
to so called squeeze with the crowd as she always told us this only
happens once in a year. My sis and I were usually the ones tat do not
like squeezeing very much. It was lucky today as it was not very hot as
it had rained before. However later it became bad luck as it started to
rain heavily and we had to carry our umbrellas as we shop. It is very
troublesome as there are many people and the road was also very narrow.
To make things worse some of the shop shelters were very low tat we
had to bend down to walk over with our umbrellas with us. Later we
went to Suntec city to hav our dinner and at the same time we told my
dad to meet us there as we want to bring him to a restaurent to eat as
tomorrow is his birthday and we decide to celebrate it early. Of course
because it was my father's bithday so the one who paid for the meal
was my sis and I as we wanted to act as a present for my dad as we do
not noe wat he wants to buy so treating him to a restaurant will act as
a present. After tat all of us went home.
