Saving a life

Today is a quite meaningful day, as on this day I saved a life in a way and also found tat there are still mani ppl who are kind and willing to help. When I reached the door of my house, I saw a bird tat is being trapped with a string tied to its leg. It kept on struggling to fly off but the string still does not loosen. I told my mum about the situation and she hurriedly tried to use a bamboo to try to free the bird. However the bird was away from us and even the bamboo was too short and we could not manage to reach the bird. Later there are two kind man tat help us to tie more bamboo stick together so as to extend it and they also help us to use the bamboo stick to break the string. Finally, after several tries, the string breaks and the bird flew away. We were all veri happy as we had suceeded in freeing the bird and saving its life. I feel tat the bird was lucky tat we were persistent in tryin to save it and did not giv up even though we had face several difficulties. Today, I also learnt tat there are mani kind ppl in this society . It is unlike wat ppl out there sayin tat we Singaporeans are not kind. But today it really prove tat those who think so are wrong, we do still hav ppl who are veri kind and willing to help others when in trouble.
